Important Notice: Activity Cancellations and Transportation Adjustments

Dear Members of the ASF community,

We inform you that due to the transporters’ and merchants’ large protest scheduled for today, Monday, February 17th, roadblocks are expected on major access routes to Mexico City. This affects key routes such as Querétaro, Pachuca, Puebla, and the Mexico-Toluca highway, and we have received confirmation that protesters are now heading toward downtown Mexico City.

As a precautionary measure, ASF has made the following decisions:

• All athletic practices & Extended Learning activities have been canceled for today.
• Scheduled athletic competitions will proceed as planned, and parents are responsible for arranging their children’s transportation.
• The Middle School Musical rehearsal will proceed as planned, and parents are responsible for arranging their children’s transportation.
• Only the 2:45 p.m. scheduled buses will depart campus this afternoon. The two late bus runs have been canceled.

We appreciate your understanding and suggest that you take extra precautions in your commutes. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed of any changes.
